Campus safety
Your safety and wellbeing are important to us. Stockdale is committed to providing a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment for all students, staff and visitors.
- Emergency contact information is displayed throughout the campus and is also available through the Student Handbook and Learning Management System (LMS).
- First aid kits and trained first aid officers are available on campus to provide assistance when required.
Students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with campus safety information, emergency procedures and evacuation arrangements during orientation and throughout their studies.
Policies and support
At Stockdale, students have access to:
- A safe and respectful learning environment supported by policies that prohibit bullying, harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual assault.
- Clear reporting and complaints processes for raising concerns or reporting unacceptable behaviour in a confidential and respectful manner.
- Wellbeing and support services, including access to confidential support and referrals to specialist external services where appropriate.
- Emergency and crisis support information, including contacts for emergency services, mental health crisis support and other 24-hour assistance services.

How to report concerns
In an emergency requiring immediate assistance, call 000.
If you experience or witness unsafe behaviour, harassment, or discrimination:
- Contact a staff member, student services, or the Student Support team immediately.
- Submit a formal complaint via the Stockdale complaints and appeals process.
- Access external support services (police, counselling, legal support).
Report any health and safety concerns or hazards to appropriate staff members immediately.
Report any suspicious online activity or cyber abuse immediately. This includes cyberstalking, trolling, fake accounts, online hate, and doxing.
Report any incidents of sexual harassment, assault, or discrimination to Stockdale's Dean or CEO.
If you encounter or witness any behaviour that you believe constitutes bullying, harassment, discrimination, or gender-based violence you are encouraged to report it. Stockdale has a zero-tolerance policy for such behaviour and reporting incidents helps ensure a safe learning environment for everyone.
All complaints are handled with confidentiality and respect. You can expect that your concerns will be addressed promptly and fairly, with the aim of resolving issues in a just manner.
