Celebrating Student Achievement

Graduation recognises the dedication, commitment and academic achievement of students who have successfully completed their qualification. It marks an important milestone and celebrates the knowledge, skills and experiences gained throughout their studies.

Students who have met all academic requirements and satisfied any outstanding financial or administrative obligations will be eligible to have their award conferred by the University.

Graduation Ceremonies

Graduation ceremonies provide graduates with the opportunity to celebrate this significant achievement with fellow graduates, family, friends and the University community.

Eligible students will receive information about upcoming ceremonies, including dates, venues, registration requirements and event arrangements. Where appropriate, additional information relating to academic dress, guest attendance and ceremony schedules will be provided as part of the registration process.

Student feedback is an important part of creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment. Students are encouraged to share their ideas, experiences and perspectives to help enhance learning, student services and campus life.

There are a range of opportunities for students to provide feedback, contribute to decision-making and participate in initiatives that support the continuous improvement of the student experience.

Student Complaints and Appeals

Stockdale is committed to providing a fair, respectful and transparent process for managing student complaints and appeals. Students have the right to raise concerns about their learning experience, services or decisions that affect them, without fear of disadvantage.

Every complaint or appeal is managed confidentially, impartially and in accordance with the Student Complaints and Appeals Policy and Student Complaints and Appeals Procedure.

Students are encouraged to seek advice from Student Services if they are unsure about the process or need assistance lodging a complaint or appeal.
